This AI Rights & Content Protection Policy ("Policy") supplements and is incorporated into the WriteUp AI Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It governs the use of all content, data, reports, materials, and intellectual property produced by, displayed on, or accessible through WriteUp AI and its related services (collectively, "Protected Materials"), as operated by Walker Ventures LLC d/b/a WriteUp AI ("WriteUp AI," "we," "us," or "our").
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technologies creates new methods by which proprietary content, methodologies, and data can be extracted, replicated, or repurposed — often without the knowledge or consent of the original creator. This Policy establishes clear, comprehensive, and enforceable restrictions to protect our intellectual property and the confidential data of our clients against such use, both now and as new technologies emerge.
This Policy applies to every individual and entity that accesses, views, interacts with, or receives any output from WriteUp AI. This expressly includes, without limitation:
Visitors who access any part of our website, landing pages, marketing materials, documentation, or publicly accessible content, whether or not they create an account.
Registered users and paying subscribers ("Clients") who use the platform to generate reports, upload financial data, configure settings, or access any platform features.
Recipients of generated content, including investors, limited partners, or other third parties who receive reports, emails, or other materials produced by or through WriteUp AI on behalf of a Client.
Automated systems, including web crawlers, scrapers, bots, spiders, AI agents, and any other software or technology — whether operated by a human or autonomously — that accesses our services or content.
Third-party service providers, contractors, and affiliates who may access Protected Materials through any relationship with WriteUp AI or its Clients.
The following activities are strictly prohibited without the prior express written consent of WriteUp AI. These prohibitions apply regardless of the purpose, whether commercial or non-commercial, and regardless of the technical method used.
To be absolutely clear: no Protected Material may be used, in whole or in part, as training data for any artificial intelligence system. This includes but is not limited to:
Pre-training, fine-tuning, instruction tuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), direct preference optimization (DPO), or any other model training methodology, whether currently known or developed in the future. Generating synthetic training data derived from, inspired by, or patterned after Protected Materials. Creating embeddings, vector representations, or semantic indexes of Protected Materials for use in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, search engines, or recommendation systems. Using Protected Materials as few-shot examples, in-context learning demonstrations, or prompt templates in any AI system other than WriteUp AI itself. Evaluating, benchmarking, or red-teaming AI models using Protected Materials as test inputs or reference outputs.
This prohibition applies regardless of whether the Protected Materials are accessed directly through our platform, received as generated report output, obtained through public-facing pages, intercepted through network traffic, or acquired by any other means.
Automated access to any part of WriteUp AI is prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing. This includes web crawlers, screen scrapers, data harvesters, browser automation tools, headless browsers, API abuse, and AI-powered browsing agents. Our robots.txt file disallows all automated crawling. Accessing our platform in violation of robots.txt constitutes unauthorized access.
We actively monitor for automated access patterns and reserve the right to block, throttle, or terminate access for any party engaging in or suspected of engaging in automated data collection.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise determine the source code, algorithms, data structures, prompt architectures, or internal logic of WriteUp AI through any means, including but not limited to: systematic input-output analysis designed to reconstruct our generation logic, prompt injection or extraction attempts, inspection of network traffic, API responses, or client-side code, or using AI systems to analyze, summarize, or replicate our output patterns, formatting conventions, or analytical frameworks.
Our proprietary math verification engine, formula registry, GL code mapping system, prompt architecture, report narrative frameworks, and data visualization templates are trade secrets of Walker Ventures LLC. Any attempt to replicate these systems constitutes misappropriation of trade secrets under applicable federal and state law.
Clients retain ownership of the financial data they upload and the factual content within their generated reports. However, the structure, design, formatting, templates, narrative frameworks, analytical methodologies, chart designs, and presentation layer of generated reports are proprietary to WriteUp AI and protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use generated reports for their intended business purpose: communicating with their investors, partners, and stakeholders. This license does not extend to using the reports, templates, or output as input for any AI system, competitive product, or derivative work.
Investors and other recipients of generated reports are permitted to view and use the reports for their intended informational purpose. They are not permitted to extract, copy, reverse engineer, or use the report structure, design, or presentation for any other purpose.
The following systems, methodologies, and assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Walker Ventures LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws:
Our multi-layer math verification engine and its underlying architecture. Our formula registry, including all formula definitions, validation logic, and GL code alias mappings. Our prompt engineering architecture, system prompts, and generation pipeline logic. Our report design system, including templates, typography systems, color systems, chart designs, and email templates. Our data extraction and normalization methodologies. Our narrative generation frameworks, analytical structures, and investor communication patterns. The WriteUp AI brand, including all logos, names, taglines, visual identity elements, and marketing materials.
No right, title, or interest in any of these systems is granted to any user, Client, or third party except as explicitly stated in our Terms of Service.
Clients who subscribe to WriteUp AI acknowledge and agree that their license to use the platform and its generated outputs is subject to all restrictions in this Policy. Specifically, Clients shall not feed generated reports, templates, or any platform output into any AI tool, language model, or automated system for the purpose of replicating, learning from, or building upon WriteUp AI's capabilities. Clients shall not share access credentials with any third party for the purpose of extracting or analyzing platform functionality. Clients shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that third parties who receive generated reports (including investors and limited partners) are aware that the report design and structure are proprietary.
Violation of these obligations constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate termination of access without refund, in addition to any other remedies available under law.
We actively monitor for unauthorized use of Protected Materials, including AI-driven scraping, systematic data extraction, output pattern analysis, and competitive replication. We employ technical measures including but not limited to access logging, behavioral analysis, rate limiting, fingerprinting, and content watermarking to detect and prevent violations.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate access for any party we reasonably believe is violating or has violated this Policy, without prior notice and without liability.
The restrictions in this Policy are not limited to technologies that exist as of the effective date. They extend to any technology, methodology, or process — whether currently known, under development, or not yet conceived — that could be used to extract, replicate, learn from, or derive value from Protected Materials in ways that fall within the spirit and intent of the prohibitions stated herein.
This includes, without limitation, future advancements in artificial general intelligence (AGI), autonomous AI agents, multimodal AI systems, quantum computing-enabled data analysis, and any other emerging technology that may be applied to content extraction, pattern recognition, or intellectual property replication.
Any violation of this Policy may result in one or more of the following: immediate termination of access to the platform and all services, forfeiture of any prepaid subscription fees, pursuit of injunctive relief to prevent further unauthorized use, pursuit of monetary damages including actual damages, statutory damages, and disgorgement of profits derived from unauthorized use, recovery of attorneys' fees and costs of enforcement, and referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities where criminal conduct is suspected.
We acknowledge that monetary damages alone may be insufficient to remedy unauthorized use of our intellectual property, and that we shall be entitled to seek injunctive and other equitable relief in addition to any other remedies available at law or in equity.
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
